Elizabeth holds a First-Class Honours degree in Biology (BSc), specialising in ecology and conservation. Her academic journey included research on the effects of deforestation on arachnids in Ecuador's Santa Lucia Cloud Forest and a dissertation exploring the conservation implications of shark ecotourism. She has also gained hands-on experience in habitat restoration through volunteering with conservation groups.
Passionate about the importance of habitat restoration and management to preserve and expand our natural spaces and help tackle climate change. Elizabeth is dedicated to increasing biodiversity and advocating for wildlife protection in the UK. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, walking, pottery, and painting. A music enthusiast, she attends gigs and festivals and plays the cornet in a community wind band.
