Naomi Parker
Senior Ecologist
BSc in Countryside Conservation Aberystwyth University
Having qualified with a degree in BSc in Countryside Conservation Aberystwyth University, Naomi also then obtained a Class 1 great crested newt licence and Class 2 bat licence with Natural England.
Whilst growing up in the countryside of Norfolk surrounded by heathland, Naomi developed a real passion for ecology and in particular a love for reptiles and amphibians. She integrates her knowledge of herpetofauna into her dedicated work as an ecologist at JBA. She has also been involved in a vast number of bat projects over the years including a specialist area of dealing with historic buildings such as churches, chapels and listed heritage buildings, whilst also leading on projects of complex bat roost types. Naomi’s passion for solutions-based Ecology has enabled her to help clients find the right strategy for their project and a wealth of expertise in Biodiversity Net Gain.
Naomi very much enjoys the office side of things: analysing data, writing reports and in particular, preparing Natural England licences. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, exploring new places and spending time with the children; two noisy Siamese cats and one overstimulated Hungarian Vizsla puppy.
