Clay Farm, Cambridge
Initially the design process began with design quality panels and presentations leading onto larger design themes which run through the project such as natural play and multi-functional use of space.
Once approval was granted, James Blake Associates were commissioned to produce a Masterplan drawing alongside detailed Hard and Soft landscape proposals, for this 350 plot site which is part of the wider South Cambridge fringe urban extension strategy. This would include designs for the green infrastructure as well as the residential areas.
Influences from artists Simon and Tom Bloor were incorporated into the paving design of the urban street-scape.
James Blake Associates continue to oversee and supervise the implementation of the landscape scheme.
