Coe’s Meadow
Coe’s Meadow was a charity funded green space. A proactive Parish Council ensured the funding and a clear brief for this rural village green setting. The character of this lovely space is informal. The facilities were conceived very much in a country park tradition with water bound paved paths, rustic play equipment, and sweeping wildflower meadows. There are also areas of amenity grass for more active ball games.
Existing tree management, including a historic avenue of lime trees, was part of the brief, as was the proposal of further village green, canopy height trees.
The client was extremely satisfied with the results, and it has been very well maintained to this day.
