Emily joined the ecology department of JBA in 2014. Her main roles include conducting wildlife surveys and writing reports to communicate the findings.
Emily graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012, during her studies Emily gained experience whilst volunteering for a variety of wildlife charities and conducting field surveys for a number of private ecological companies.
Whilst at JBA, Emily has gained a plethora of knowledge with regards to ecology and undertakes surveys for reptiles and assists with bat, great crested newt, water vole and phase 1 habitat surveys.
In her spare time Emily is an avid member of her local swimming club and competes on a regular basis. Emily enjoys bird watching and ringing, and is a current member of the BTO.
